Custom Design-Build Terrace Level

This is a project High Caliber did in partnership with Clarke Norman of Lakeside Home Systems. Clarke has an Architectural CAD system which is capable of producing virtual photos and video, right down to lighting and colors. This was a big help to Ed & Susan, as it would be to most clients, in helping to envision what a flat set of floor plans will actually look like.
The Terrace Level was 2,000 unfinished square feet when we arrived. The first thing High Caliber had to do was move the entire main floor HVAC system in a timely manner so the clients would not be without heat; this they accomplished in 1 day by pulling in 3 crews. Other than a storage area and an equipment nook for the Home Theater (Lakeside is expert in home theater, lighting controls, structured wiring and security) equipment, the entire basement was improved into a “Terrace Level.”
The focal point of this space is a curved Cherry Wet Bar with solid surface countertop and bar; structural posts, which at first may have appeared to be in the way, became complementary columns in cherry. Along with the Theater Room, there is also a Wine Cellar room with a custom arched-glass door, a full Bath, a new HVAC system dedicated to the Terrace Level, an indoor putting green area and custom built-in cabinets along with a window seat in the ping pong area.
Outside, High Caliber installed a stamped-concrete pad and rails to accommodate a hot tub and outdoor rinsing shower.
